Molars are permanent teeth found in the back of the mouth.
From the age of approximately 6 years the first molars begin to erupt in the oral cavity. The second molars in the twelfth year of age, while in adults, the third molars or wisdom teeth erupt between the ages of 18 and 25.
There are cases in which the third molars may remain included or not be present within the dental arch.
